The Youth League program is designed to emphasize the fundamentals of team play, individual skills and good sportsmanship.  The program is open to girls in 2nd through 6th grade.  The season runs from January through February.  Games are played Saturday mornings at either Silver Spring Intermediate School or Hamilton High School.

Who: All girls in 2nd - 6th grades in the Hamilton School District

What: 2nd - 3rd Grade Girls League (8 ft hoops | fastbreak league)
               4th - 6th Grade Girls League (10 ft hoops | 5 on 5 basketball)

When: January 4, 2025 - March 1, 2025

Cost: $125 for students in the district and $195 for students outside of the district (3% + $1 fee is added by SportsEngine). 
The registration fee includes:
- Practice facilities
- League games
- Officials
- T-Shirts (players will keep)

General Info:
1. The league will use the cumulative numerical rating to assign players in such a way as to create equally matched teams.
2. No players will be cut.
3. Rosters with player names and phone numbers will be provided by the coach.
4. Each team will consist of 8 to 12 players.
5. Parent volunteers will coach teams.
6. Each team will practice once a week depending on facility availability.
7. Games will be played on Saturdays between 11:00 - 4:00 at SSI or HHS.
8. Games will be played starting January 4 and ending on March 1.
9. A season ending tournament will be held at SSI.
10. The number of teams and the availability of facilities will determine league schedules.
11. Coaches will communicate practice times and locations to the players and parents.
12. You will be contacted by your daughter’s coach after our early December coaches meeting.
13. Sign-up deadline is Friday, November 1, 2024.
14. If you do not sign up by this date any requests cannot be honored.
15. Cancellation from the league results in a $40.00 processing fee.
16. Any NSF checks returned will be assessed a $40.00 fee.
17. No refunds will be given after December 1, 2024.
